  Sign said no alcohol this weekend. I was there on a Wednesday. We asked if that ment this weekend or next. Waitress said they haven't had a liquor license in months. Food was not the best nor was the place clean.

  Pleasant decor and friendly service. We had fish and chips. I went for the pickerel, and the girls all had haddock. We were all pleased. The fish and fried we quite tasty, and we found the portions to be large. We will return.

  My husband and I went to visit a few small provincial parks in the Lake Erie area and stopped in Port Burwell for dinner. We went for local, freshly-caught fish: I ordered the pickerel and my husband got the perch. We also had haddock tacos and clam chowder for start. All the meals were very tasty, the fried fish were fresh and covered in light batter, and big plus for yummy tartar sauce and coleslaw - I couldn't make those better in my own kitchen! Service was kind and attentive and decor was nice but not overdone. We'll definitely recommend The Lighthouse Restaurant and Pub to our family and friends!

  Pricy but tasty. Get the local fish if they have it, then go across the street for ice cream.

  The ice-cream from simply scoops were amazing. I loved bear claw and I am looking to find a similar combination somewhere close by.
